Yep He is not a power back that will run you over. He is not overly fast speed wise but he can make people miss . He can catch the ball out of the backfield. He needed a team that fit his style and KC in one of those teams
Perfect back for what the Chiefs like to do. I was shocked to see, when I googled the Chiefs depth chart they already have him listed there. LMAO that was quick! He will be 2nd before training camp ends and be a good third down back, catch some balls and will be ready in case Walker III gets injured. Perfect fit IMHO.
After the addition of kenneth walker combined with what they already have , that seems like a weird pick to me for the Chiefs. But since they are my favorite team , i'm all in... Just did not see that ahead of time.
Walker did have a big year last year. But he has been injured. EJ can fill the role to help keep walkers touches down a bit.
But they didn't re-sign Pacheco and don't seem to want Kareem Hunt back. So Johnson gives them some RB depth.
Alot of NFL teams go 2 or 3 deep at rb. Every team needs at least a solid #2 rb.
Hope he has a 3000 yard season while the chiefs go 0-17.
