Maybe. But do we know?
You can make up a theory about anything and if it can't be disproved, you can choose to believe it, but why would you if there is no evidence to support that belief - after 5 years? Embarrassment maybe?

Some people think Joe Biden was Jim Carrey with a mask on and since I've never seen them in a room together, maybe it's true.

And there it is. The Right doesn't see this as monitoring white supremacist groups, they see it as attacking Republicans! Jesse's words, not mine. And that's the reason for all the fake outrage.

Thankfully Dan Goldman is calling out Todd Blanche on his bvllshit.

They paid the Imperial Wizard? This just keeps getting better. It’s quite possible the Klan doesn’t exist without these people.

We told everyone the demand for racism far outstripped the supply. It was such a wide gap they had to manufacture their own fear porn.

Look at fatpiggy ... desperately trying to get out of being a racist ... "but you made me do it!" You poor, dumb criminal creature.

No matter how many times you blather about your new fake boogeyman, we all know the truth of the matter - they paid informants, not the organizations themselves. They worked closely with the Biden administration because they didn't have anything to hide but when Trump came in he shut it down. He didn't have to because they would have been happy to work with him but he didn't like the fact that they were investigating his buddies. So of course he wanted retribution and he sees this as a corrupt way to seek it. And as always, you taint-lickers lose your **** and spread their propaganda far and wide because you're gullible and you live to own the libs.

Idk man. I don’t spend my time on this stuff. What little I do know is suspect as hell. You act as if these are gospel truths, you have no idea what happened. You know as much as I do and I know nothing.

Crooks.

You are not going to believe what I just uncovered…

Ohio State Senator Casey Weinstein (D) claimed to be a victim of a “nazi” attack which caused him to donate to the SPLC

You will never guess who his wife worked for..

The SPLC!

Yesterday someone asked Casey if he will disavow the SPLC after it was revealed they allegedly funded extremist groups like the KKK and fake “far right” marches and were indicted for wire fraud and money laundering.

His response? “Lol no.”

The Democrats knew.

What did Casey know and when?!

He should absolutely be investigated @TheJusticeDept

ADL is on deck. We see your scams. Now we just need to expose them for all to know.

Look at all the chuds going apeshit over their new boogeyman that allows them to ignore their abomination who is a thousand times worse. It doesn't matter that the charges are ridiculous and baseless, their torches are ablaze to distract us, which was the objective all along.

If you honestly think the 'democrats' paid 3 million dollars over a decade (a miniscule amount of money in aggregate/year by year) to the SPLC in unknown bank accounts for any reason other than paying informants and undercover agents, you're a special kind of stupid. Like the stupidest of stupid.

I don't blanket call Maga nazis. I don't blanket call the right racist. I don't do the hyperbole of the left or far left. But if you're Maga/lean right and are jumping on this to say that 'racism is dead'or the left'weaponized' or 'propped up racism' purposely for votes- you're just letting your true colors show and you're simply racist. Own it, but don't project and blame anyone else.

This is maybe the most outlandish and ridiculous claim by Maga and the trump admin of the past decade. Be smarter. Be better.

This is the org that bankrupted the Klan, financially destroyed the Aryan Nations and maintains that it's actions are aimed at preventing violence and tracking extremist activity to protect public safety, so you have to ask yourself why the uproar?

Paying confidential informants to monitor violent groups is a standard investigative procedure and not illegal.

How can you claim that donors were defrauded if the donors aren't complaining, likely because they agree with the mission?

Using fictitious names for payments is likely a way to protect informants, not hide wrongdoing.

It would be one thing if they received government funds but they don't, it's all private funding, so how does it make sense to make a spectacle of going after them in such a public way? It would seem they're being targeted simply because they're a left-leaning organization or they don't like it that they are pursuing people in right-wing extremist groups - or both.

This is a well-meaning group so it's just strange that they're being pursued so vigorously. It feels like bad people are going after good people to distract their base from other more serious issues and I'll be damned if it didn't work like a charm.

This, and it isn't hard. This is absolutely how it works- do people think these hate groups are stupid? They look into their members, where they get their money, etc. They're paranoid af and if any of their members financing or net worth is affected, they will look into it.

Yes, its just low hanging fruit. I don't think the Trump Admin is "protecting hate groups or white supremacists" by going after SPLC. I do think they know their base has underlying racism (and the admin obvi has it too) and its an easy distraction. And there is nothing more than MAGA loves than being distracted- the left does too btw. We hang onto every new offense and grievance by this admin as well.

But the Trump admin knows the midterms are about to be a bloodbath. We are completely losing the war in Iran and everyone knows it was a terrible decision. The admin wiffed on the Epstein Files. They are historically unpopular. So what do you distract with? Their bread and butter- mis-aggrieved low/middle class white dudes who feel missed and underrepresented (which, fair that population has been underserved and ignored) who don't think people of color have it any worse than them. So claiming "fraud" over 3 million dollars in a 10 year span against a civil rights org fighting white sumpremacy is ALWAYS gonna land.

This isn't even a conspiracy, its simply occams razor.

Great post but I'd say there's an argument that they could be protecting "some" white supremacist groups. Emphasis on could.
