My 8 month old will be crushed now that her post lunch nap is getting cut short. 3pm start was prime for the kiddo
It doesn’t matter much who starts. Everybody will be available. And all 4 dook runs in the series were gifted on our errors. Just play clean and get the offense going.
I agree about it not mattering who starts. It’s all about the offense tomorrow… it’s a bad time of the year to be trending south. Break coming up next week. This is a get right game for the offense. Need some momentum before the last run to the post season.
And it can only go up… right? I mean how could it get worse than holding your hated rival (with a bad pitching staff) to NO earned runs over two games and be within one base hit by them in the 8th to be down 2-0 this series?!?
Leon for dook: another righty (Grad from Columbia) with an era over 5. Like the last two, you’d think we’d be able to score runs off them… BC finally got to this guy last weekend, but it took until the 6th inning. What worries me most is his BA against - .213. While not elite, it’s very very good. We’ll see how we do, but I won’t be surprised if we struggle again early despite a fairly gaudy era on this guy.
It matters who pitches not who starts. We have dominated them with RH pitching b/c they have 8 RH batters starting. I think Glauber gets the nod followed by McDuffie and yes we need to find our offense. The last 3 ACC games we have scored 2,3, and 1. I don't know much about Coastal lineup but if they have lefties, that would be a good fit for Folger and Jackson. We need a statement win today.

Duke is not very good. We need to win today, period. I dont see the need to make teams out to be better than their records
