Kid has cool hair. When I create my NBA 2K characters, they usually have big hair.
In this case, his ridiculous hair is way down the list of what’s wrong with him. That being said, Pope needs him. Sometimes you just have to hold your nose and hope for the best.
If we actually have a team around Stokes, as in we land a starting caliber PF and some other pieces.. sure, ill be happy with the roster (yet Pope still has tons of coaching issues).
But if we just get Stokes, I wont be happy. All that means is we have a player thats gonna help Kentucky win a few meaningless games, while never making us a contender, and potentially saving Pope's job for another year.
Stokes is a life boat for Pope, not for Kentucky. Lets remember that.

Stokes was never playing for Pope. Too much risk; take UKs free press and cash in.

I can't pretend to have a clue about their thought process not being an ink guy myself but I'm guessing a mountain is being made out of a pebble.
Louisville and the University of Louisville are not the same thing. Hell, even the University of Louisville isn't the University of Louisville Cardinals are not exactly the same. I wore Cats garb all the time right in the campus, Kentucky flag in the dorm window.
I figure if one is inclined to be an home area code tattoo guy, one is good as the other. We all come from somewhere.
I saw an interview with Stokes today. He was asked when he was going to commit to school. He said, "when God tells me to" Also said there is no clear favorite.

He's so full of ****. When he smiles I'm reminded to clean the litter box. By "God" he means his scout telling him that the getting's not getting any higher and he needs to go to the highest bidder.
Stokes isn't the same type of player. I think it depends on who he has around him. Stokes can facilitate at a high level. He can win without high volume scoring. I'm not sure how hard he will dig in on defense, though.
