I think the pool will be smaller than some think. The rule would be 5 consecutive years and it gets rid of medical redshirts and covid year. I think also redshirt years. So anyone that is seeking a 5th year of play in their 6 year would not be granted eligibility.

I don’t see any way they could possibly implement that effective immediately that doesn’t turn into a total disaster after coaches have already been building their teams under the current rules. It’s the NCAA we’re talking about though, so they’ll probably roll it out in the most chaotic way possible.
I don’t see anything wrong with it. We have tampering and stuff going on all over the place anyhow. Why not throw in a few more potholes to navigate?

I think we'd have to pluck a PF, shooter and a wing if it happened. Problem is you can't hope it does, so we can't wait IMO.
