Some of you probably already know but in case you haven't, our staff made contact tonight with David Fuchs and T Bol Bowen... If we can nab Fuchs, our starting 5 is pretty solid.. Freeman miss won't be so big if we land one of those 2 guys.. Fuchs possesses next level ability.. I'm not so big on Bowen though..

How did you find out that info? Fuchs would be a good get. We have the cash to get him

He is 6'9" 250

We need that kind of beef at the 4 unless we want Williams or Hawthorne snapping in half
I agree we need bodies to field a lineup. Where I don't agree is expecting this guy to be "next level", or that we will have an actual "Ferrari" lineup this time around.

Friend of a Friend kinda thing. I would assume you'll hear about it tomorrow. I know the Freeman miss sucks but what we're building here is a cohesive group that doesn't lean on any one person. It takes time to build really successful groups and that's no different here. I feel the same pain you all feel when we 'miss'. Stay the course and Finish Strong. #BBN

The sum of the parts is greater than the whole! 12 and 14 loss seasons, tell me that is total BS and cope. For poor recruiting and scouting. I remember, people told me it didn't really matter that Pope couldn't get talent, his offensive system would will us to 30 win seasons.

Fuchs looks like he has a decent post game, and he looks to play decent defensive position. However, what I do NOT like about him...

FT: 60%
3P: 30%
Assists/game: 1.4 - so, maybe not a great passer, or his 2 different teams both stunk at finishing
Blocks: 0.3 per game

I certainly wouldn’t have him rated as a first choice out of everyone, but Bol Bowen could actually be a decent buy low candidate given the position we’re in now. He was actually a pretty consistent double figure scorer early this season even against the toughest opponents on Alabama’s schedule, highlighted by his 17 point 9 rebound game in their win over St. John’s. His durability is the concern though, as he’s built like toothpick and was greatly hampered by nagging injuries in conference play.

Niko Bundalo (6'10" Fr. PF) now in the Portal. He's a 2025 McDonalds AA. Played on Prolific Prep with Darryn Peterson (and he still believed he was the best player). Lot of skills and all the high school hype to make him considered a "stud." Only problem is he was apparently unplayable at Ole Miss as a freshman. May have some maturity/emotional IQ issues - but that's just trying to read between the lines. Chris Beard wouldn't play him - and probably for good reason. But it's a name if we're throwing out recent PF portal entries.

You serious? Someone really told you he was that good offensively?

We recruited him early. Definite maturity problems. I’d imagine Pope gives him a call.

Yeah teams could play hack a Shaq with that FT rate. Freeman was going to be a Carr, not a star though, and some of what we lose in blocks (which is basically one every two games) we’ll get back in beef so I don’t think he’ll be too much of a downgrade and probably a snag considering what’s available. Unless he folds moving to the SEC but speaking of Carr himself, his numbers didn’t really change much when he switched from the CAA to the ACC. (His boards dropped when he came to the SEC but Fuchs seems like a better rebounder than Carr and Carr was rebounding off a bad back most of his stint in the SEC.)

A ******* 238 rank transfer from San Francisco named David ***** is "next level" and we won't miss a beat from missing on Freeman.

You got next level something, that's for sure.
We are a dying breed in the fan base man! The woke mentality is wreaking havoc over the MBB program, and it’s getting more prevalent by the day!

UK is going to have to start hanging banners for players just showing up for practice before it bottoms out, it appears 🤣

Don’t enable this. Stay away from Big Blue Madness and games. Don’t purchase gear and try your darnedest to not watch games. Don’t give UK a cent.
Well, it’s not like they are doing anything to earn our business or maintain our loyalty! 👊🏻

I think you’re right. I’ve been reading this board a lot lately and it’s painfully obvious that 95% of the fans are just ecstatic with the state of the basketball program. 🙄
