Well … look this isn’t a prime time Big 10 staff. Let’s be real.
Outside of Goodale, the trio of AA, Sasso and Labs has a national championship, 5 B1G championships, 3 national runner ups and how many AAs? The staff has been upgraded and those 3 are B1G worthy.
Why can’t you? Why can’t bad mouth someone doing …. Job? Heck, turn on the news it’s par for the course in politics these days but the masses are supposed to keep quiet. He spoke truth.
LOL...politics does it so everyone else should???. The worst reason to do something questionable...because someone else did it. And unless it come from someone on the team NOT disgruntled, I wont even consider it truth (even though it could be). What makes you so sure everything he said was truth? And if it was, why was it taken down immediately if the whole world should know?

He’s right though … call it what you want. It would be sour if it wasn’t true but it is true, SG has done what he can and will not take RU any farther, and has basically regressed since losing Donnie. People act like you are supposed to be thankful cause SG fired the coaches in the wrong order. SG should retire and Pollard …. Well … look this isn’t a prime time Big 10 staff. Let’s be real.

He wasn't fired. His contract wasn't renewed after expiration. Semantics, I know. Pointing to politics as your example is silly. That's a clown show. You're always better served not saying anything so you avoid burning bridges. No one wants the headache of someone that airs their dirty laundry. Corporate America and pro sports avoid these people and even blackball them. Hopefully this doesn't come back to bite him as he seems like a good coach and recruiter.

Well I mean he can, but he’s also going to have to live with the consequences.

By saying what he said, his resume now includes “I’ll bad mouth you when this is over.” Shows broken trust and a complete lack of loyalty. Never getting a D1 coaching gig again, I can just about guarantee that.

I agree. In today’s world employers search social media as they vet potential leaders. I believe that if he wants another college coaching position, during the next few years, he would need to demonstrate that he has grown and matured. If he could repair his relationship with Goodale it would be a positive indication. While his recruiting success is undeniable, it doesn’t outweigh the potential damage to a program’s culture and reputation.

Having said that, I often watch Goodale’s body language and facial expressions during a match. When things go against our guys, I frequently see a look of distain and frustration. In those moments it appears that he has lost confidence in the wrestler. If possible, watch the videos of our bouts.

Mytych will have no problem getting another coaching job if he wants one. Not saying it’s gonna be Stanford or Cornell, but Mytych is a respected PA guy, was a 4x NQ, owns almost every Drexel record, and has coached at just about every level. Also dialed into the youth scene with his son at one of the top PA clubs. SG simply chose Pollard over Mytych.

Did he? Someone reported Mytych's contract was up. If Pollard's isn't up yet, he may be in for the same when it is.

All it says to me if someone is scared to burn bridges is they aren’t strong enough to build their own. It’s a question of value, if someone brings the right value, all that stuff about burning bridges gets thrown out the window. That’s why people don’t get the same treatment and society is not fair at all. If he’s valuable enough he’ll be just fine.
