We got guys ranked worse than Travis Perry visiting this week and gotta see Puke have another stud signing with them. This is just going to be a replay of last season most likely. Every one we signed in the portal was made out to be better than what they were even though they weren’t ranked very high.

Yep. He needed Rob Wright, Wilkins, Freeman, and Stokes- plus a little more retention (Chandler), and a few shooters.

Posts alluding to Hitler or Nazis in jest always are a good indicator of the true depth of frustration of any group— once they start appearing. It’s a very real thing when it comes to showing just how upset people have become about an issue they care a lot about.
I just don’t understand how a coach can be this bad recruiting here.

Duke has talent every year and don't win it all. I'll be surprised if he does anything when they are into being a freshmen university

What cracks me up is all the people who were upset we didn't get Rancik lol Like do they know the teams were up against? Duke has the #1 recruiting class, a MUCH better core of returning players AND just landed the 8th PF/30th ranked player in the class and will get Blackwell as well and people are like "we should have just got Rancik." We are going to watch a #1 seed Duke, Uconn, Florida, Michigan/Tenessee, etc. season again from the sidelines if MAJOR talent isn't brought in at MULTIPLE positions.
It's already too late for Pope to bring in major talent he's back doing what he did last off season settling for scraps...
Football drives EVERYTHING! For our athletic department to be successful we MUST get football up and competing in the SEC. If this happen we will have more money for basketball. Pope has done in two years what Mark Stoops could not do in 12 years. With Stein seemingly bringing talent to Lexington, our football revenue will drive cash for our basketball program that will help our new AD find a first class basketball coach next year. We laugh at Duke's football program but they certainly have much more football success than we have.
duke truly enjoys the most diverse and significant advantages in all of american sport. Not even the Lakers, Yankees, or Cowboys have more advantages than duke compared to their opponents. Be it media, administrative, money, social advancement, nba, olympic, nike- they have it surrounded.
aaaaand they still can’t out muscle karma.
Crazy that he can get all these dudes when Pope couldn’t keep two PG’s on one roster.
