So now we all hate Tucker Carlsen right?

This is just unforgivable... He must be destroyed. From the Tucker show (to his brother):

“You and I and everyone else who supported him — you wrote speeches for him, I campaigned for him — we’re implicated in this for sure,” Tucker Carlson said. “It’s not enough to say, ‘Well, I changed my mind’ or, like, ‘Oh, this is bad. I’m out.’ It’s, like, in very small ways, but in real ways, you and me and millions of people like us are the reason this is happening right now.”

Like MTG, I've always thought that Tucker's cheese has slid off his cracker. But you Trumpians have to really hate this. Tucker used to be your boy to the point that you were on your knees daily, banging your heads on the floor and screaming: "There is no God but Trump and Tucker is is Phophet."

Sounds good. BE CAREFUL though. You have to know that Trump and company will absolutely go after you and your family if you happen to come to his attention, right?
I would hope I am pretty far down their list, but the thought has crossed my mind.

So wait. Before you thought his cheese had slid off his cracker (i like that one), but NOW you think he is lucid?

Which one is it? 🤣

I respect his ability to think for himself. I don't have to agree with anyone all the time. Don't agree with Trump a lot of times.

When people disagree and debate, you reach a better conclusion. When everyone just obeys the party line, you turn into a drone and forget what a woman is.

Hey pig, he's pointing out how most of Trump's most influential fanboys have flipped on him now that he's completely backtracked on his campaign promises. When will YOU have your come to Jesus moment? 🤔

At least they admit they were wrong while you flip your positions every time Trump does a 180 on his.

Oh wait, you won't read this because you put me on ignore when I didn't agree with you and made you feel dumb.

Here's my quote:

"Like MTG, I've always thought that Tucker's cheese has slid off his cracker." - Hopefultiger13

Oh, I quoted myself. Excuse me while I go outside to smoke a cigarette... Ok, I'm back and to your point, no, I don't think he's lucid. In fact, I think he's a bit less so than he used to be, if anything. Very similar to MGT, this is the same woman who followed that Sandy Hook Kid around telling him he was an actor and fraud.

To be fair, she DID change her mind and admitted that Sandy Hook actually happened. Even a broken clock is right twice a day.

BUT that hasn't changed at all. They are both batshit crazy... all the time, every day.

I'm just enjoying the fact that these are two folks that Trump LOVED and therefore all the Trumpians loved them too. How very intelligent and engaging they both were! But now they are all Low IQ. So I love to quote them for THAT reason. Not b/c they are somehow less crazy.

FWIW, I don't have anyone on ignore (based on a post below) obviously not you, but your last line here is the perfect line on how I personally view you:

"When people disagree and debate, you reach a better conclusion. When everyone just obeys the party line, you turn into a drone and forget what a woman is." - FatPiggy (now you get to go smoke a cig).

The first sentence is spot on and I couldn't agree more. THEN you return to your usual troll nature

Tucker is a white nationalist who is trying to distance himself from the failure of Trump 2.0 and position himself as a "I'm actually America First" guy. He's reading the tea leaves. Trump right now is pushing late Bush 2.0 unpopularity. He's cooked. The GOP is going to get an asskicking to end all asskickings in November. Just a rat fleeing the ship

To Tucker, I say ... get lost.

We have a criminal justice system. It has different punishments, based on the severity of the offense and other circumstances, such as your past history of offenses (or lack thereof). So we have someone who shoplifts a lipstick, who barely gets punished, is largely forgiven and reintegrates back into society, immediately, or almost immediately ... and then we have cold-blooded serial rapists and murderers ... who either get the death penalty, or life in prison without the possibility of parole ... they will never be reintegrated back into society.

The political justice system has a similar scale. From stupid, naive transgressions, like supporting "Feel the Bern," from which, if you repent, and promise to immediately and consistently change your behavior, you are immediately forgiven ... to supporting the Nazis ... where no one says "oh, you used to be a Nazi, but now you're a good guy. All is forgiven and forgotten." At this point, having supported Trump for this second term puts you in that unforgivable category. No begging, pleading or "honest" attempts at reform are enough to reintegrate you into civilized society. Whether or not you ever realize the error of your ways matters not as to whether you can ever be trusted to participate in society ever again.

He had to defend himself in court by admitting that no reasonable person would take him seriously.
He is just giving his personal opinions. There is no reason to take him anymore seriously than you or I, so I accept his defense.

Well, I hear you and agree.

In THIS case, I agree that Tucker is really sorry. REALLY SORRY that he lost his spot on FoxNews. Not so much of anything else IMHO. What he's doing now is what I'd consider a calculated gamble as he becomes less and less relevent.

Trump's almost certainly on his last term (never say never). At SOME point he's going to become a lame duck President. While I don't think he's necessarily going to lose his base, I do think that his absolute control of the Republican Party is going to slip a bit. As his ability to give a coherent speach and stick to the subject wanes, his ability to "primary" Republicans is going to wane as well. In fact you are already seeing that happening in the special elections to a certain extent. So you are going to see Republicans (especially ones in purplish states) giving him the figurative finger.

Tucker is looking to get out in front of this by being an early defector... saying how he used to love Trump before Trump backed off on his important campaign promises and lost his way. And that he (Tucker Carlsen) has ALWAYS been the conservative voice of reason. The thing is, I think that he's got a reasonable chance of pulling it off. Not great, but not a super longshot either. If he can ride this out and look like he called this early, he could even get back with FoxNews or another conservative media company. THEN you guys that used to love him and now hate him... Well, you'll be drinking that Tucker Koolaid in no time. It could happen.

Because like many things throughout American history, it sounds good, until you see video of what it looks like in practice.

The American public doesn't have much stomach for cruelty and meaness in action.

We also continue to see that DJT talks a a great game without any actual expertise or plans of how he's going to actually do it.

Yes, I agree. That's pretty much where I am. My vision of America First is that our deficit spending puts us in a weakened position to counter China. That we need to not waste our treasure projecting power all over the world for no return. We need to get our house in order and prepare to fight China, a much stronger adversary. Hopefully that day never comes, but lets be ready. I don't think America First is inherently White Nationalist. I do think it is very pro strong conservative values. Family, Religion, etc. I think a large amount of blacks in the country agree on these things.

Closing the border is a must. I am pro immigration, and I want congress to streamline the process, but we can't just have folks streaming in with no clear path forward. The ICE raids were stupid and we have argued about that before. It was my hope that with enough public backlash to the deportation that it would force congress to get off their butts.

Agreed, but it would have helped if we had passed the bipartisan bill that was agreed to until Trump killed it. We have got to start allowing/forcing Congress to compromise and get things done. Even if a bill isn't "perfect", it's all part of the process of government.

I think "closing the border" is a complete nonsense issue tbh. If anything we should welcome more immigrants. We need an "American shahada"

We can't create an underclass of people living without status in this country. That is one step removed from slavery.
