Rose threw 32 sunday and Dook is Th-Sat, so have to guess he'll go shorter than weeks past. Get the bats rolling early

Just 12.1 IP in 10 appearances, including 4 starts. His longest outing was 2 weeks ago vs A&T when he went 3 innings.

His stats indicate control issues.. 4 WP, 5 HBP and 14 BB in those 12.1 IP. He has also served up 3 gopher balls. OTOH, he has 19 K and opponents are hitting just .234 against him.

Things can change between now and the end of the season, but right now their RPI supports a three-seed more than it does a four-seed.

Only if they fall in the RPI.

The highest-ranked 4 seed in the RPI was #60 and High Point is currently 50th.

As an aside, they've now officially protected the 1 seeds against the best 2s, but they should probably do the same against 4s. There's a big difference between playing team #60 in the first game and against team #200.

I think the reason why they are not seeding the 3 and 4 seeds is they can still have regional preference and save travel expenses. Honestly seeding the 2 seeds is long overdue as there is no way LSU was one of the weaker 2 seeds in 24 .
