If you resign now, and admit this job is too big for you, we can all go back to remembering you as captain of the greatest team in UK history. We’ll always have the memories of your first season, and getting a couple W’s in the tournament after a 5-year sweet 16 absence. This past season will be viewed as a small (and necessary) hiccup before we made a hire that can truly turn the program around.

Please don’t let pride be your downfall. Admit you’re not the guy, take your buyout, and move on. We don’t want to despise you. We want to go back to loving you and having fond memories. If you’re too stubborn and/or greedy to do this, then you were never the fan you claimed to be, and I can no longer have any sympathy for you.

Stranger things have happened but you are correct, pope will be here next year. This is the reason you don’t give an extra year just because. It’s sad that casual fans who do other things for a living knew the right course of action was to cut bait and move on over others who were in position to do something. For those people I hope next season is Eddie Suttons last year bad and the whole lot is canned. The whole entire administration needs a reset.

Be practical people. Let's say he did resign today. We would NOT get a TOP coach because it would be too late to construct a top roster for next year, and having to possibly struggle in year 1 for that reason. So any kind of break needs to happen after UK's last game of the season but before the Transfer Portal opens.

We all know there is zero chance he walks away willingly. Why the UK brass isn’t helping him resign with dignity or straight get canned is the question. Every single person who has anything to say about mens BB should go down with this ship.
