That’s been the problem all along and what we have been saying in terms of Popes resume. Take the wins out of it, he has no pros and track record of getting players to the league. And players know they won’t be pushed. That quote is extremely damaging and damning to Pope.

Boosters, just put the poor man down. Have him accept a renegotiated buyout and put him out of his misery. Fans are about to go ballistic and CMP is in the crosshairs. Let him go before the stress gets to him. Even if we have to have Mo temporarily take over as the interim coach, anything is better than this ongoing disaster.
