Why is 2B taking a ball on the left side of the bag….why is our SS not a stud like all other teams
I agree, however Davis did his job. He immediately got a ground ball that should have been a double play, but James had a passed ball that allowed the runners to move up.
This defensive catching situation late in close games is beyond ridiculous. It has already cost us 3-4 games.

Chone will be good at 2B next year, but he does not need to be in at catcher defensively late in a close game.

They didn’t when we were rolling to back to back sweeps, then all of a sudden start chest pounding with two strikes against UGA and ever since. Coincidence in poor 2 strike hitting since then? I think not.
