You really think that’s how the school thinks? No, it wasn't. $10MM was the obvious threshold for a chance at competitiveness. I posted as much. It was very simple to see, and I barely pay any attention these days.

I don't know what you're talking about. You really think that’s how the school thinks?
It’s not all about others doing their part. Yes would that help but donations are a small % of what is funding these budgets unless you have a Repole….Its the athletic dept and schools as a whole identifying sponsorship opportunities with there current partners and new partners to funnnelThat's all the money we have. There's not another nickel to spare. All this talk about what we need...I agree. But if it isn't there what do you expect?
I am as disappointed as anyone. But at least I am doing my part. Unfortunately not enough others are.
You saying the threshold to compete being 10 mil..you think the school really things that way?I don't know what you're talking about.
Totally agree. In addition to yourself, several posters and I include myself were saying this for awhile. And yet here we are again playing catch up.No, it wasn't. $10MM was the obvious threshold for a chance at competitiveness. I posted as much. I think you guys are all missing the pointTotally agree. In addition to yourself, several posters and I include myself were saying this for awhile. And yet here we are again playing catch up.

Ask yourself - do we have any corporate sponsors other than Delta.Dental and the car dealership. We are not putting the focus and effort into this aspect of the revenue picture. Rutgers hired a team for this type of sales. We have the admin saying we are in good shape, always have had to do more with less and then float that the private donation base is poor. It’s not all about others doing their part. Yes would that help but donations are a small % of what is funding these budgets unless you have a Repole….Its the athletic dept and schools as a whole identifying sponsorship opportunities with there current partners and new partners to funnnel
NIL to the athletes. Felt and the Department have now failed at doing that for 4 years. It’s time for a new regime. If that doesnt work than you go down to the A10
I agree with you, Hallwins. I too thinks it’s more than just a money issue. It is also a mindset issue with the powers-that-be at the Hall.Come on. We have more money than last year. We should have been able to retain at least 3 of our key potential returnees. No way what is going on is purely a money issue.
Also, the money is there for the school. It may choose not to devote resources and at the end of the day will reap the benefit or detriment of that decision. However, Seton Hall without a competitive Big Easf program will be a death knell in my opinion.
Were the coach and the GM on the same page?Agreed to number and signed. Then asked for more and Sha said no
Obviously they believe they are. I do not have the inside knowledge to either refute ot substantiate that.Do you think the school is doing all it can too? With rev share and their piece of nil?

All I can do is help as much as I can.
