Any school he goes to he’s not starting still physically not ready but knows the offense and if he’s better should push the top talent guys that’s what we need with a redshirt under his belt. Was a top 10 SF and they say was killing it in PRACTICE so how that translates to big guy competition we will see.
He can shoot it he’s just atrocious on defense at 120 defense rating and that’s at Boston U

Did you watch the Furman UConn game? If you did you would have saw a silky-smooth player that could take can handle the ball, drive to the hope, finish, shoot the 3, and defend. That was the only game I saw him play. Last week when it was announced he was coming I then dug deeper into him and many see him as a future star in college basketball. I am glad we got Zoom but I wanted Wilkens more than him, More than Rob. I wanted Wilkens more than Stokes. Now that we got Wilkens I want Stokes.
I can tell you right now. I want Donnie Freeman but the PF I want the most in Blue and White next year is James Madison Forward Justin McBride.

Do wut?! Man, that’s insane! He set out a whole year to develop, both physically and skill wise. That’s just crazy and I don’t understand it at all, coming from any perspective. Surely he didn’t thing he was gonna be a surefire starter this season, right?! One would have to think he would be a rotational piece no matter what this season, however. Idk it’s just very odd to me.
If we sign everyone it looks like we will then he will be gone. He will be buried in the rotation in the 10-12 spot depending and he won’t stick around for that.

Wilkins is a future pro. He has every tool necessary to be an NBA guard in a couple years. Have to believe the people complaining about this signing have only looked at his transfer number and not watched him play. Hes elite.

Would you say he makes up for both Chandler and Johnson? Stats appear so. NBA is full of guys from mid size schools.
I would agree. We will have to see if he can handle the physical play of the SEC but I like this kid. He's got some skill. He has some crafty old man game in his bag. I think he should be rated higher in the portal. Portal rankings are garbage anyway.
I have been thinking recently that IF we already have Stokes, the announcements will be orchestrated with our top targets announcing first then Stokes announcing as the finale. Then a couple fill in players after that. A couple of tier one targets have signed. If one of the power forward targets announces next then...it may just happen.
