On Stokes:
1) How tall do you think he is ??
2) Does he play below the rim ??
3) Great passer !! Maybe elite passer !!
4) Hard to evaluate his defensive ability !!
5) Can he play SG ... I think so ??

6’8, above the rim, could play 1-4 easily so yes SG if need be. Defense is definitely the ? Mark you got that right.

I was just thinking. If we miss on Stokes, there is nothing to blame other than our coach. Kentucky checks three key boxes for this kid

- Higher Offer
- Nike School
- Local

The only thing going for Kansas is Self. Tells you a ton about how Stokes and I’m sure many other kids feel about Pope.
I don't think being local is helping Kentucky, but really it just seems like Stokes isn't interested in Pope/UK

Stokes strengths from what I see. Good ball handler and decent slasher. Great passer and vision. Strong body to post up smaller guys. Weaknesses are outside shooting and looks slow on D
He'll be good with a good team around him kinda like Koa Peat was for Arizona.
I don't think he is good enough to carry a mediocre team to success.
He's a notch below AJ or Cam Boozer.

How much did we offer, and how much did Kansas offer?

Stokes showed he is tremendously talented but also pretty sloppy tonight at times. Some great moves and assists, streaky shooter with phenomenal athleticism— and also some really bad decision making— all in one. As impressed with his passing as his willingness this mix it up inside.

He seems intense and talks to himself alot. Doesn’t back down to anyone — very confident about himself and wants to have the ball in his hands. And a lot of great players are like that.

Collins was very impressive at times. Made some amazing moves. Wish Pope could’ve locked him down and disappointed he’s going to USC.

Announcer kept emphasizing Oregon was still an option. Watch Nike work against us!

Don’t sleep on Oregon.
Been saying that since he was wined & dined in Portland for the NIKE Summit. Oregon is rebuilding & they have Ariza signed . Word around Nike was that he was asked who he wanted to play with from the Portal. Now the MVP at the Jordan BRand game seemed manipulated when it came to playing time.Jordan Brand is owned by NIKE.
WATCH WHO OREGON signs in next few days.

His size, strength, and passing ability make him a player that will elevate the win total substantially for any team he goes to. He is going to be able to go where he wants, when he wants, and he is willing to find the open man. If this kid comes to UK, Pope really needs to find a couple more knockdown shooters

He was right to say he is going to decide in two because he needs to see the rosters first because Pope will be lucky to have four starters by then at this rate. When this disaster is over I look forward to reading about how it truly was behind the scenes.
