Sadly their teenage kids witnessed the argument and were in the house when the murder/suicide took place. Sorry to bring politics into this but been thinking about how witnessing something like this is going to impact those kids, as well as what could've happened to cause this. Apparently they were in the middle of a messy divorce filled with nasty arguments, and in January he claimed she assaulted him in their home which was proven false by their home cameras.

Man, he was a lawyer too. He knew better. He, or she, has to get out of that house. Anyone that has practiced in the Domestic Law area knows that the most dangerous time for both parties is going through the legal process of a divorce. There are too many factors that can take you there. God Bless those kids.

No politics needed. This is a tragedy all around. Those poor kids are going to go through a lot to cope with this.

He had allegations of sexual misconduct against him from back in 2021. I imagine that played into this in some fashion. Very very sad. It's all over the place up here.

Guy had a massive Ego too(most of if not all people that high up the social ladder do) and the impending divorce was going to be a major bruise to that Ego, one it couldn't take, so she had to go, the Ego demands it!

To answer a previous post, there were reports he'd been drinking heavily in the days leading up to this, also according to reports, the gun was purchased with money that had been previously set aside for their kids extracurricular activities.

I don’t understand the desire to kill. Unless I’m defending myself or my family, I will settle things differently. I don’t get it.
