Who knows, I'm glad this "scandal" wasn't a huge black eye for the sport, just mentioned I think it smells a bit fishy with his lack of rebutal to all the allegations.

Obviously, neither of us knows the full account of reasons (Carter's or those that run the NLWC RTC). Regardless:

NIL sponsors of Penn State wrestling paid Carter to compete for a 5th (not the RTC).

I recall him stating he wanted to go MMA while in college. I don't recall he ever emphasized a freestyle career.

And if I recall correctly, he made public statements indicating he wasn't happy about Dake being brought in.

That kind of lack of commitment to international freestyle isn't what the NLWC is all about.

But yes, he no longer appears as a NLWC resident athlete

It's pretty cool to see you comment in a thread about who is or isn't breaking rules and/or doing mischievous deeds. If only there was a board dedicated to real estate companies and one company called out others for incredibly unsavory and gross business practices. Man, you'd be in your wheelhouse!

For anyone that enjoys old Boberts contributions to the program: Just look up where your big donors money comes from and what that company does. Normally I'd hate doing crap like this but when you want the plaudits and your name associated with the good you do, the **** you do in the dark should come to the light. And my man, you and that company have done some **** in the dark.

We won the cases in MN

We won the case with HUD

A jury awarded 450K in Jackson MS where there was no evidence of break in and found that the resident who claimed they lost a game boy deserved the money. Our insurers decided to pay, not us. We would not have.

You demonstrate a complete misunderstanding of the way of the world to those who provide housing. Our average rent is 1200, Our renewal rates are 75% when the market is 60. Yes there are complaints, but you seem to think all are justified. They are not.

Keep being miserable.

Go ahead and list them, I don't care. I'm not Cael's keeper or PSUs benefactor. I've gotten on perfectly well with 90% of posters here and generally just talk wrestling. Just didn't like the hypocrisy

Nah, you're just upset with me and acting out like a petulant child. I've been generally complimentary of Iowa wrestling and have routinely advocated for them getting back to elite status as it would be great for wrestling. I've provided historical statistical data for Iowa fans occasionally and been pretty darn even kiel in discussing iowa wrestling during their dual meets, calling out when I felt Iowa was hosed and so on. You're a diehard Hawkeye fan, and you out your money where your mouth is. I can't or won't fault that. You're also a guy who seems to try to hold some form of moral high ground when you're no different than any other wealthy donor of any other program. You all have shady practices and skeletons. You live in the same glass house as all of them. Have a good day Bob.

How in the HELL do you think he is supposed to act? Do you not realize what you did on here? How you called him out? He has actually been WAY more civil than most on here would have been.

It is as if you don't understand the business he is involved in. I have a family member that is very high up with Village Green. The stories I am told about a SIGNIFICANT portion of the clientele is MUCH less than flattering. COVID made this exponentially worse. Going after Bob with what you did is beyond slanderous and you deserve every single bit of possible backlash for doing so.

It is IMPOSSIBLE to do what he does, at the scale he does, and not have complaints. You can be the ABSOLUTE best at what you do and, at that size, you will have issues NO MATTER WHAT. How they were resolved speaks volumes and I would say his answers to your insults gave him pretty solid high ground to stand on....
