Is Zoom an upgrade from Lowe?

I’m not too familiar with Zoom and Lowe was barely around considering his injury so I’d be curious how the two PGs compare to one another.

Hope everyone realizes this last season was a disaster because of the disconnect between players. We didn't have a talent problem. Maybe slightly yes because of injuries. If Lowe played we would be slightly better

I would pick this guy 10/10 times over Lowe. Get some grown *** men in here. All these guys are talented. Get some guys like Diallo and other above average players and then throw Stokes in the middle to facilitate. Question remains will Pope get that Stud in Stokes?

I can see why people compare him to oweh, but to my eyes he has a better handle, better passer. Better mid range jumper. About the same at finishing at the rim!
In his SR year the oweh was a solid shooter, but I see zoom improving his. So imo he is a better fit at point then oweh at the 3 spot.
We shouldn't compare oweh as a sr to diallo as a Sophomore.

Having said that I love oweh. He took toughness and heart to another level! Clutch as well!

I’ve never used Butler but Zoom has a pretty good user interface for live video sharing in a professional or personal setting. 👍

From what I’ve seen he’s strong and good at driving to the basket. What I’ve been doing is looking at game logs of our portal targets against the best competition on their schedules. He had some good games and against good competition. I don’t care what Jeff Goodman says, I think he’s a good basketball player.

Seen a bunch of Aberdeen and four or five full Z Diallo games.

Diallo is far more of a pg. Aberdeen is a fair bit better overall player, mainly because IMO Aberdeen is really good.

As the OP said, Diallo and Lowe are very different players as pgs. Diallo is a fair bit bigger and stronger, and Lowe, when healthy, is more instinctive.

At Zoom's size and build, he should be a huge upgrade on defense, finishing at the rim and rebounding.
If he stays healthy and has good players around him, he will improve throughout the season. I believe he has a lot more upside.
Same with the comparison to DA. DA was never a pg, he was a scoring guard, Diallo is going to set others up to score much easier.
Loved DA, but I think Zoom will be the better pg, but we need really good shooters too. Didn't have enough shooters last year.
