Darrius Miller was a high 4 star/borderline 5 star.


And the guy was locking dudes in bathroom stalls.

I've been said Billy G was better. Let Pope have a couple more seasons and it won't even be a debate. All time lows coming soon.

if you have more money and you can’t land anyone at Kentucky, there is a problem. I don’t think it’s JMI, I think it’s the players can’t relate to the coach and can’t see how his system would benefit them moving forward.

Pope can pay guys and can’t out recruit a drunk who locked guys in stalls and forced them to eat Pop Tarts.

Again Gillispie is a much better coach and recruiter mark is. If Mark didn’t have NIL, he would be so bad there wouldn’t be words. His sweet 16 is DUE TO Kentucky brand and having so much money to legally cheat, even he couldn’t mess up winning a game or two.

Give him 20 years. With no NIL and no major brand he wouldn’t have even got to many tournaments or tournament wins at all.

Having to try to comprehend how a blue blood program like UK cannot attract top level players is just crazy to me. I'll give Pope a pass on his first season, he didn't get hired till mid April. But come on now. We hear the NIL money is there. Why is closing the deal this difficult? Is not having a GM still biting UK in the backside? Is the staff just socially awkward and it's turning players off? :confused:

I don't get all the "GM" deal. Why can't the head freaking coach manage the team. Absolutely stupid! "PATHETIC POPE"
