Stokes wants to go to Kansas and Freeman has a Uconn visit up next. Based on what has already transpired, what makes you think either would commit here at this time? Pope isn't beating out Hurley or Self for a recruit.

Stokes will go to KU.

Freeman to UCONN.

Diallo is probably 50/50, but when we're losing players around his level to the likes of Providence and DePaul, we have to assume he's not coming, either.

We'll end up with average players with average coaching.

None of these dudes are going to come here. You know what this reminds me of? NBA/NFL Draft night. There’s a kid, any kid, who is projected to go top 5, lottery, take your pick. For some reason, he gets passed over, then passed over again. Drops all the way to the bottom of the first round, and keeps getting passed over, but no one is exactly sure what’s going on or why.

That is UK basketball right now.

Nobody worth a chit is coming here. Pope will end up with a roster full of players that will be average at best and complete duds at worst. We'll take it on the chin again next season, then Pope will be fired. Pope should have been fired at the end of this season! He's clearly in over his head and doesn't have any answers. All we have done by keeping him around another season is just guaranteeing we have to suck an additional year.

I'm foreseeing a 12th place finish in the SEC next year.

Poor attendance at Rupp and losing our status as the program with the most wins of all time.
