With all of the offense, last night was a really fun game to be at. The weather was also perfect.
hoping I can score some tickets for Friday!

Is Ga. Tech the biggest regular season homes series there has been in the last 10 years? It feels huge

I don't post that much over here on the baseball board like I do on the football and basketball ones, but, this team has been a fun follow.

I'm hoping this is the year I do that cross country drive to Omaha to take in the CWS. Always wanted to do it and I think I've built up enough credits to pull it off. Wife will be like, wait, you want to go cross country by yourself to watch baseball. Me, yep. Wife, ok. LOL.

2017 was Carolina Clemson. Both 3/4 Carolina swept the Tigers that weekend
A repeat of that performance would be a tall order, but would be awesome! I'd be happy with a 2-1 series win this weekend TBH!

Go Heels!!

I am glad to see Nunez get some run. He has the swing of a high caliber hitter. And, while I believe he is a 3B by trade, he flashed some leather in RF, making two strong catches that I remember against Clemson.

Having said that, I am really sold on Howe as well. He is "a ballplayer."

And "Dr. French," of course, is a spectacular, if not indispensable, defender.

Although Perry seems to have found a role, and Kellis and Maginnis have had some run, the player I miss seeing is Sawyer Black. Is he injured?

That lefty swing just seems too polished not to have seen more of him otherwise.

Forbes told me the other day he expects Black to come up big at some point this season, as Sawyer did last year at FSU. But he's struggled in his chances at the plate this season....granted, it's tough to get an at bat here and there and produce consistently. In that regard, Nunez has jumped on his chance and when he got it at Clemson, he came up big

What’s AJ Terry’s situation? Is he just deep on the depth chart? I remember them being pretty high on him before the season.

And while we're asking about injured guys... Is Black currently dealing with an injury or is he just a DNP via coach decision? I may have missed these two, but will we see Percival or Holiday again this year??

I really thought Hargett would have been one of the corner outfielders. I think he was an IF coming out of high school with elite athleticism. Was hoping that translated well to OF.
