This guy stinks anyways. He can only blocks shots and shoots 40% from 3. There is a nice 8th man center that moneyball says is gonna make a jump this year to average 3.4 a game.
In this case, I’m not sure he’s a big loss. I just don’t think his game would translate to a physical conference like the SEC.

It's funny to the people who wanted this clown gone after the travesty that was this past season. I mean, we saw this coming since the roster was assembled (before the Purdue game), but people keep saying "just wait, it will get better".
(Here's a hint: in business, and Mens CBB is a business now, make no mistake, it NEVER "gets better" without corrective action)
They reached out to so many people, we will start signing guys soon. Just not sure what they will be ranked. If they have to take chances on lesser ranked guys they better find people that are good shooters and fit Popes style of play. We will find out how good our GM is then.

There’s no world that he should be a Kentucky Wildcat. None. That’s why he’s going there. Good luck to him, he did the right thing. Would’ve never got on the floor here and if he did we would’ve won maybe 10 games.

We also have eyes. I watched a bunch of their games and he’s Mid Major level. He just is. Nothing wrong with that but if he came here it would’ve been a mistake if wanted any minutes. Probably a great young man but he chose the right place. If he wanted to be the 9th or so guy off the bench that would’ve been ok but anyway.
Everyone misses on guys. He’s at least going after some great players and I got to give that to him. There’s still a ton of really good players out there and we’ll end up with a good team. How good is the question. I think we’ll be ok.
