That's interesting. Either ISU's sugar daddy that I keep hearing so much about isn't really funding their NIL as much as people are letting on, or Iowa isn't as destitute as people had been letting on. Sounds like Iowa's NIL is doing just fine based on this.

Don't forget; Clown U is facing a $25M annual deficit over the next 6 years. Last year they covered their deficit by taking money from contingency funds.

They spent the $20.5M on players via revenue sharing but Jamie admitted they couldn't afford spending that much (he felt they had to in order to compete).

I fear you are right. There are no rules now, it seems.

And apparently Kirk sent a text 2 hours too soon and Iowa self reported because I guess Iowa is one of the few schools left with a compliance department. ;)

If Ben wants him, that's all that matters to me. I just hate the cost of doing business.

Oh, and since he's out of state, he gets free, expensive, out of state tuition (not that anyone cares about that anymore). ;)

If I am not mistaken, I believe you mentioned this a few days ago, back before McKeever visited Iowa. I feel like the fact that Drew still visited is a sign that whatever the agent is/was seeking isn’t too far out of the question.

Im bailing on the big stiff who's gonna play 18 min a game. Rolling with cam, coop, trey, and jirak as my 4-5s and spending on a tricked out guard.

So McKeever and Glass are not in the top 100. Is either worth $2M or more? Fru was asking for $3M but he is ranked #34.

If it comes down to one or the other I agree with you. Would much rather have a guard like Glass over McKeever. Hopefully they have the money for both.

I think Combs showed a lot of promise last year. Should have more freedom to create. There are a lot of solid PGs in the portal still. A solid Big is very important.
