Drank at least my share of Old Mil back in the days of Hawkeye wrestling being broadcast on Iowa PBS.I will not take any old Mill slander, it ain’t the cream of the crop, but it’s an absolute classic
You didn't just "bring up" the fact that he had prior injuries. You were enjoying the idea of the kid getting hurt, just because he now wrestles for Iowa. Don't be a d!ck and then get defensive when people mention it.You can hate all you want the guy missed 2 straight postseasons it’s a fair question to bring up injuries.
Nice to hear we were the first call. Great job by the staff to make it happen.
Nobody’s hating…. You’re just embarrassing yourself being a lifeless dolt. Just the fact of the matter. You can hate all you want the guy missed 2 straight postseasons it’s a fair question to bring up injuries.
Rumor has it that TnT called in the janitor to close the deal. The first call wasn't important. What was important it came from Iowa's Mariano Rivera aka Bobby Telford.

Why do you care? You are not a fan and it’s not your money being spent. Also your clothes are tacky and I hate you.You can hate all you want the guy missed 2 straight postseasons it’s a fair question to bring up injuries.
Didn't MN get Cannon? Bet you loved that moveYou can hate all you want the guy missed 2 straight postseasons it’s a fair question to bring up injuries.
Classic fatherless or deadbeat father characteristics. If he does get injured next season, my hunch is that you’ll come back here and tell us something along the lines of ‘I told you so’. And feel good about yourself?
Yeah everyone here is aware of the risks involved. Let us be happy for a minute, damn. I know you’re a gopher fan and happiness doesn’t come around very often, but damn man.You can hate all you want the guy missed 2 straight postseasons it’s a fair question to bring up injuries.
I'm kinda partial to Old Style myself. But Old Mill is solidI will not take any old Mill slander, it ain’t the cream of the crop, but it’s an absolute classic

Shapiro would be awesome to have as a heal, he’s really fun to watch and has so much offense. That being said he’s definitely not a 65 and I’d much rather have Zepeda for 4 than Shapiro for 1. If they miss on Zepeda which would be a bummer than they should definitely throw a bag at Shapiro for a year and make sure to keep him for the hwc as he’s very good at freestyler and was a an age level world champ while in highschool. I wonder how much Schubert has been talked to? He’s a much better option than what we currently have on roster, even though I’m not to sure how high his ceiling realistically is, low AA? Haven’t watched much of him but he has beat cam steed and Gaitan, by the looks of it he’s in a ton of close matchesBig piece now let’s see if we can lock in Zepeda at 149. Bump Block up to 157. See if Shapiro wants to go 165?
125- Deluca
133- Crookham
141- Bailey
149- Zepeda
157- Block
165- Shapiro
174- Arnold
184- Ferrari
197- Ludington
HWT- Kueter
Back in my day, a bar just below the Hill in Cedar Falls had 25-cent pitchers of Old Mill on Thursday nights. It didn't matter how it tasted.Solid swill...
I could get a 30 rack of old mill in Iowa city for 14.99 during my school days…and I thought that was like Pennies on the dollarBack in my day, a bar just below the Hill in Cedar Falls had 25-cent pitchers of Old Mill on Thursday nights. It didn't matter how it tasted.

Yep. Could get falling-down drunk for a buck or so.
Tony's on the Hill in the summer used to offer up the same with Drewerys. And The Stein burned down. Probably caught the tons of pizza grease that was in that place on fire.Back in my day, a bar just below the Hill in Cedar Falls had 25-cent pitchers of Old Mill on Thursday nights. Except you didn't want to be on the floor of that place. Don't forget to add cheap pizza next door at the Pizza House. Hammered and full for under 5 bucks.Stein?

It has much less to do with Iowa and much more to do with this wrestler. He is one of the best but very unlikely that he will be a full time starter next season. He will need to be on a really tight pitch count. He is worth the risk but you definitely want a good plan B at that weight class. The quickness after a transfer to Iowa that people are able to gleefully prognosticate an injury is gross.
Different knees, but the "injury risk" is not that he reinjured the same limb but that he puts his joints in a position that easily leads to injuries as part of his wrestling style (he twists his joints around like a pretzel like Hardy, who apparently has rubber knees), so the injuries are related even if they are not the same joint, and it should be a concern. Its tough to watch his matches with Vito Arujau and not be excited about this. Yes, there were two injuries but they weren't the same one. I'd be more reserved if he re-injured like a knee, but a one-time knee thing can happen to anyone when its cranked to the side like that.

It has almost everything to do with Iowa and little to do with Crookham. You think if he committed to Michigan, the response would be the same?
