I learned this the hard way when I was a young dumbass and I'd take small loans to get my wife dumb ****. Fortunately, my income caught up and overtook those expenses so that I was able to make things even out eventually, but I don't see the University of Louisville having revenue increase every year for the next x years.

It appears Pat Kelsey is currently prioritizing the target from Saint Mary’s over John Blackwell. In my view, the recruitment of Blackwell remains Illinois' to lose. Regarding the specifics of NIL budgets and individual valuations, the lack of transparency makes it difficult to verify the figures being reported. It’s highly probable that agents are inflating these numbers to create additional leverage in negotiations.
If UK doesn’t land Stokes, that leaves a truckload of money to spend. I could see us getting into the Blackwell sweepstakes. Hopefully Pope gives Stokes an ultimatum, s$&t or get off the pot. If Stokes comes great, if not we need to make a quick pivot.
If UK doesn't get Stokes, that means Pope will overpay for backups to fill the roster since the best players have already committed.
