Not impressive at all,, to allow lesser players to play hero ball instead of running your offense through your best player......just stupid I am guessing your impressed with all the hero ball she allows over actually trying to run a good offense through her best player?
Zack, give it up. He will never change his position. He entrenches the more you debate with him. Even though you bring up some irrefutable facts.

She seems so polished and versatile! How she adjusts to college early will be fascinating to watch.

Curious for those who watched and remember, how did ADdie look in these games last year? Wondering if they offer any clues into how quickly a player can contribute as a frosh.

In the McDonalds game Addie didn't really have much of an impact, In fairness to her while many of the guards were hunting shots she really did seem like she was trying to play team first type of ball.

McKenna is the real deal, IMO she was the most impactful front court player on the court in a game of who's who of the top high school/foreign prospects going into college. These games are usually dominated by guards and last night was no different yet McKenna found ways to make a difference. She played team oriented ball, Played well defensively both on the perimeter and interior. She has long arms and gets off the floor quickly and has a quick 2nd jump going for rebounds. You can see why she is rated as one of the best players in the country and got selected to represent the USA in various international tournaments.

I don't believe she ever played on the USA select teams because she was too old for her age group. She was 19 at this point last year and 20 when she got to Iowa. McKenna is only 17 at this point, one of the youngest on team USA's 18 and Under squad...

For Mckenna's game tonight, I don't quite understand how we watch it.

Hawk Central says this:
  • TV: None
  • Stream: Jordan Brand Instagram and X accounts
--
But HawkeyesWire says the NBA app or youtube

If I don't have to NBA kind of subscription thing can I still watch it on the NBA app free? Does anyone have a recommendation for the optimal one of these choices as a way to watch

I looked for her stats but couldn't find them

I looked as well, I watched the game, Typical all star game dominated by guards. McKenna played her usual unselfish game. Just guessing I would say roughly 6 pts, Probably 6-8 rebounds and 3-4 assists.

One play in particular summed up McKenna, In a game where she gets hardly any offensive touches she drives from the wing into the paint and has a nice 10 foot pull up available, A chance for her to actually hunt a shot, She spots Ashlyn Koupal under the basket and drops the dime for a layup.
