Most people realize Louisville basically lost its entire roster, we just have some people that freak out every time they get a commitment. I’ve seen enough of Kelsey to not be worried.
UofL was coming off 12 wins in 2 years. UK was not anywhere near that bad of shape.Yeah Kelsey is a very mid coach. I mean Pope has 3 NCAA wins and Kelsey has 1. And both coaches’ predecessors left their respective programs in shambles. So I’m not sure why any UK fan is sweating Pat Kelsey. I hope he stays at UL for a very long time.
Kelsey reminds me of Gerry Faust from Notre Dame football. Both are "rah rah" coaches. Many on this board thought that his passion would turn into wins. I've seen this movie before.Yeah Kelsey is a very mid coach. I mean Pope has 3 NCAA wins and Kelsey has 1. And both coaches’ predecessors left their respective programs in shambles. LOL .Yeah because CMP was left with so much when he came in . Both coaches started from scratch.UofL was coming off 12 wins in 2 years. UK was not anywhere near that bad of shape.

They landed two great players for the rebuild that is a fact. If Kelsey would ever figure out that you don’t have to shoot 40 3’s every game to win, he could be good. He’s not an elite coach, but he’s not crap either. He at least can reach players and motivate them. With a good enough talent level they could be very solid. So far he’s doing the job he’s supposed to.Most people realize Louisville basically lost its entire roster, we just have some people that freak out every time they get a commitment. I read that they had two coaches leave and were quickly replaced by two defensive minded coaches. The emphasis on getting a strong middle man may signal an adjustment in his strategy. More inside game and fewer threes. They landed two great players for the rebuild that is a fact.
