Wow! All of you hating on UofL while they’re landing trophies, while Pope has that squinting look on his face, with zilch from the portal, are a special breed of losers!

You all were warned multiple times, this was going to happen! Every coach in the game has the goods on Pope on the recruiting trail, so don’t act surprised, that he’s going to end up with the leftovers!

You are getting that 3rd season, warts and all!

I’m not the one ever bringing up excuses. Jackson Shelstad shot 39% from the field and 31% from 3 and only played 12 games last year. The same people talking about him being a good get for little brother would have blasted our staff if we had landed him. Look in the mirror brother instead of trolling people and playing the blame game and victim card 24/7.

There is a discussion about that very question on Reddit. Kansas fans chimed in a lot. He struggles against 7 footers and has no offense outside of the paint. But he can guard 1 thru 5 on switches, and has the potential to get better on offense.

FWIW, some portal rankings now have the Iowa State shooter at number 1 since he entered the portal today.

Not that impressed at all with Shelstad but Bidunga is a stud.

I think this is correct; reference Adidas. Brohm has been openly feuding with UL's AD regarding his buyout. UL's AD Heird has stated in recent interviews that "changes must be made to remain solvent". Point is I don't believe the reports that UL has nearly unlimited NIL money from boosters to fund basketball NIL. This was all Adidas.

Wait a week from today and see whose roster is better ours or little brothers. This isn’t complicated if you aren’t a sky is falling/ everyone’s out to get me type person. If it’s 2 weeks from now I could understand the panic but it’s blatantly obvious the staff is working to build a competitive roster, maybe try letting them do that for once instead of armchair quarterbacking.

Our roster looked better on paper this season as well but the midget drove circles around Pope’s Ferrari.

Little brothers collective sits around 14 million and that’s only after they had to take out a loan to cover operational expenses from last year. They are in a deep hole of well over 100 millions between all sports. They aren’t the only ones in that position either, all these schools trying to compete athletically that don’t cash flow are in dire financial shape, it’s 90% of the universities across D1.

I'm glad I'm not the only one who thinks this. Flory is nothing but a lob threat and decent defender/rebounder. Really don't see anything special about him

Shelstad was hurt last year. He is a career 35.2% 3 point shooter. In 31 games vs. Tier A comp he is shooting 37.4% from 3. Those % from a guy taking over 5 a game for his career are elite.

What you say may be correct, but both of them are better than anything uk has. The point guard is probably only behind wright and better than zoom.
