I also bought RC tickets and have received nothing...very strange.

Any ideas for parking?

Campus is going to be nuts and stadium drive will be closed for their street fair type deal.

Also, they hold the tickets to the last minute to prevent resells IMO.

Our tickets have been in my Rams Club account for a while, but they are in the Blue Zone, and not part of the public sale. Having said that, that still aren't "live" yet.

yeah, my tix were confirmed back in january ... have been in my RC account since then, but yes ... not available for transfer ... i bought 4 for sat and 4 for sun ... a little disappointed that they have not been available to transfer to folks i bought some for ... and yes, i was aware of the tight control bananas maintain over their tickets ... still, was not expecting quite this late a delivery ... looking forward to the game

Just think this all got started when Savannah lost their minor league team and they joined the coastal plans league to have summer baseball and as they say in show business the rest is history.

i did as well, but they are not in my RC account

edited to add:
called RC and had to create a fans first account to access tickets … downloaded the app and screen repeatedly froze … had to go to the website to create an account to then access tickets

i have know from multiple sources how tightly bananas control their ticket sales, but this experience has been pretty frustrating … ticket delivery 24 hours prior to event is absurd … just my 2 cents

anyway, just wanted to share for others still trying to access tickets

Our daughter-in-law won the opportunity to buy up to 4 tickets in the Bananas' ticket lottery. She and our son are going with a couple of their friends. It's a 10 minute walk from their condo. For a young lady who grew up in Colorado, and went to college in Alabama, and dad who went to Michigan, she's having quite the life in Chapel Hill...attended the dook basketball game, learning the ins and outs of baseball at The Bosh and having her dad's college win a major natty.

Nothing against the Bananas because my view is, they're getting a generation of kids hyped up about baseball who may or may not otherwise be interested. Hopefully some of that translates from interest in "Banana Ball" as a 7 year old to interest in real baseball as they get older.

Either way, nothing to be mad about. To me it's no different than the Harlem Globetrotters or Monster Trucks. Entertainment. But happens to be somewhat correlated to baseball.

That being said, I had no interest in going over there today. Luckily I've got my 4 year old hooked on Carolina Baseball and I'm personally worried if she got introduced to Banana Ball she might start to view "regular" baseball as a little less entertaining, which is the opposite of what I want. Ha.

But no shade towards the Bananas from me.

Baseball purists won't understand this, but my wife loves Banana Ball because it's over in 2 hours. She gets bored sitting through a 3 hour game. Tuesday night, when she wasn't visiting with the dogs, she spent most of the game reading magazines.

I went tonight and it was fine, but disappointing. I was excited and had really looked forward to it, but it was a lot more kiddie centric and state fair atmospheric than I expected. I think I would have had more fun if I had gone with friends.

It was great. Very professionally done event. I’m 70 years old and was quite entertained. I’ve been to all of the major league parks and am currently working on going to all of the minor league parks in the Carolinas and Virginia. This fit right in. Kenan Stadium looked great. The baseball diamond was immaculate and I was impressed how they installed the screens down the baselines. Well worth the money.

the globetrotters exist as a celebration of basketball for people who love the game while the Bananas exist for people who hate baseball, there's a significant difference to me.

it's justifiable for a little kids' act but it is also an affront to baseball and the farther it stays from discussions about the actual sport, the better imo.

Interesting perspective. Wondering what makes you say the Bananas exist for people who hate baseball? I know a lot of people who went to see the Bananas this weekend in Kenan and none of them hate baseball…
