Yes to year one, as proven BOC has been it’s the Sec and it is totally different than the ACC.
I think he will build off his first year and adjust.

In the old days when I cared more, I’d argue and try to get to the bottom of why people had stupid opinions and agendas like this. But nowadays, hey if you want to trash O’Connor/etc. and contribute to general Emm Stake toxicity, knock yourself out.
Ironic coming from the site’s king of stupid opinions.

I think we're going to contend for Omaha this year. It's annoying as hell, but it's 4 games and we were one or two plays from winning all of them, just like all of our other losses but one.

We've had a lot of really good teams that finished strongly, go through mid season stretches like this. I'd be more worried if it were obvious there was a big divide between us and the best teams, but it's obvious we're very close to the best teams.

The worm will turn...
That's one thing bout them turntables

Overall, we're pretty close to where I thought we'd be right now. But the way we've gotten here is completely different. I thought we'd have played more like we're playing now in the first 6 weeks of the season and we'd be be playing more like we did in the first 6 weeks by now. This team is much better than it's playing (and has played) and I don't see any real reason for it. I mean, yeah we did lose our #1 starter, but he's really only missed 1 start so far. And really, pitching has mostly been ok during this slump. It's hitting and defense that's the problem.
The slide started with the introduction of 1878….

The only positive spin I can put on it is if we are going through a slump now is the time. How many times have we come out of the gate strong and then crap the bed towards the end

The bats we we’re counting on to produce aren’t producing.
That is a big problem, the bullpen is a problem, starting pitching is a problem (Tico not included), catching is still an issue, and middle infield is a problem. Other than that we have great team!

Elitedawgs have the answer. Mr “we are a lock for Omaha ever year” Todd and 400 lb Arrowdawg say the team is a bunch of pu$$ie$

1 we didn't over spend year one. That isn't a thing. You come out the gate hot or you're digging a hole that is hard to come out of. Look at football (yes two different situations but same principle when it comes to buy in from what recruits you could get).
2 I would much rather get in a slump now than be like Tennessee last year and think you're untouchable and get knocked out of your own regional.
