A couple of clutch plays to win this one. Loved the call on the bunt That scored 2 runs. My son was throwing that out as an option that could score and would prevent a double play.
Not a bad trio to have rolling into a SundaySo tomorrow rests on Boaz, Rose, and Matty? Let’s hope Boaz can get some good length.
I agree. Boaz is due a dominant game. Not a bad trio to have rolling into a Sunday
Clemson didn't have the depth to substitute. In extra innings, the Tigers were forced to play their starting CF at 2nd Base, and, at one point, a pitcher was playing CF. It is unclear, but I believe that he may have thereafter moved to RF and ended up charged with the pop fly error that loaded the bases for the Heels in the 14th inning.Way to go Glauber!!! And way to go Clemson! Thanks for giving us that one lol
I just brought the kids outside with me, 9 month old in the swing and the 2 year old (Monday) got a after dinner popsicle lolI had to put my kid to bed as soon as the game ended so I missed the celebration with you guys, but holy cow what I win.
I wanted to pull my hair out several times during that game but as others have said, this team never quits.
Glauber is a total stud. Unbelievable what he’s doing.

Didn’t get to watch today… not sure what went down. But I never meant to imply umps weren’t sensitive. Meant the opposite, really… way quicker to puff their chest out and get aggressive whenever slightly threatened (definitely more than officials from other sports). That what happened today??@THEChapelthrill umpires still not sensitive? Lmao
The guy is literally scared to death of if the crowd behind him.

We don't have to sugar coat it. Sometimes it takes some luck. They didn’t give us anything! Our boys battled and never gave up. What a crummy thing to say.
Couldn't agree more. I think if you want to replace Boaz with someone a little more consistent on Sunday, that would be ok. But I'd either leave it as is or move Glauber to Saturday.Lynch goes to the pen if Glauber starts IMO. And it wouldn’t really be his fault. He just profiles to help us most out of the pen.
I’m not 100% sure what the right answers are but I’m most sure the wrong answer for Glauber is Sunday starter. We can’t get to the postseason and him not be on the mound the first 2 games. I’d lean towards Saturday starter right now. If we had a 1-0 game in a regional tomorrow, I’d want him starting it. Though I understand if we don’t make that change.
True they were short handed. I believe they subbed in a guy that has started in Right Field most of the year in Right Field though.Clemson didn't have the depth to substitute. The announcers were blaming the 35-player limit for Clemson's personnel problems. They also blamed the second baseman for not fielding the dropped fly ball.
Probably a slow left-handerAnyone know what Clemson has left pitching wise?
You're correct. After reading the box score, it is clear that a player named Ty Dailey had pinch hit and then remained in the lineup in RF. He was charged with the error.True they were short handed. I believe they subbed in a guy that has started in Right Field most of the year in Right Field though.
Those announcers...good grief they were something weren't they? I realize on these streams you use homers, but these guys were all about showing their colors. It really pained them to praise UNC.Clemson didn't have the depth to substitute. For me it was less about them being biased, which I expect from the home announcers, and more about how they couldn’t make the correct call at all when watching replays. The reviews weren’t even close and pretty sure they were batting 0.000 in their takes on how replay would go.Those announcers...good grief they were something weren't they? But they did--praise UNC. Although their praise was "guarded," as if they knew that, if they sounded too effusive, the yahoos that you heard berating the plate umpire during the broadcast (for the whole damn game) would be waiting for them when they left the booth. Those announcers...good grief they were something weren't they? Ooof, I guess I had my east coast blinders on. Not sure how I could forget about UCLA. lolUCLA
