And a freaking 4 pitch walk to walk in a run. We give up too many free passes unintentionally for us to be putting batters on intentionally.
Almost a full game's worth (27) of K's and we are not even done with second game yet
Ehh this team is solid, honestly that lineup is maybe the best we’ve seen all year.
Kid has 30ks in 121ABs and 15 walks and you walk him on 4 pitches. Just pitiful baseball.
We may be in a situation where the series is basically lost before arguably our best pitcher ever takes the mound.
Forbes broke Walker during super regional last year pitching him in this situation, mid-game. He has not looked as dominant as he was before that. He’s been okay, but not as confident as before that.
We have to hit the baseball.. we’ve given up 4 runs through 7. We have to hit.
I would nicely ask for some runs, but every time I have asked for that, it hasn’t worked. So I guess just do your best, boys.
The LOB is killing UNC this weekend.
A 2 run lead on us is like a 5 run lead on someone else. We make any pitcher we face look like Nolan Ryan

Clemso is awful! They have beat 3 bad mid majors on weekends and a bad South Carolina team and a worse Stanford team and we are about to get swept by them. This team has pieces but just not enough arms to overcome the lack of power.
Interesting since they’re 5-8 in the ACC and unranked. Other teams have figured them out

There is a big gap between “Clemson” and “awful”. They may not be a vintage Clemson team but this is arguably our toughest series we have played all year, given the location of it.
When you have struck out 27 batters of a top 10 team in less than 2 games, that’s pretty dominant.
Of course no matter the sport, it seems UNC always gets everyone’s best effort.
This team is just miserable to watch offensively at times. Hynek GiDP swinging at one he needed a pitching wedge to hit.
Had a 3-1 count and we were one ball away from 2 on, no outs. Ends in a double play. Just brutal.
