40+ pitches for Lynch through 2. At this point, just hoping he can get through 5 and then hand it off to Glauber. He's going to have to be really efficient to do more than that.
My thing is I don’t mind the zone past the 3rd if it’s a consistent zone. And, if it is. So be it you have to adjust. But…
Just go to the automatic strike zone and keep the home plate ump there for everything but calling balls and strikes if they’re gonna be this incompetent. This guy is garbage
Offense has to help out, we score runs and everything gets easier.
Ump yesterday was the same way. They kept getting calls on the outside corner and we weren't. Obviously no excuse. Still have to play sound baseball, not make errors, and hit with RISP. But the ump was terrible and looks like not much has changed
Meanwhile, Clemson starter is through 3 innings at exactly 30 pitches.
Well, I was hoping we would come out much more disciplined at the plate today.
The guy doesn’t nibble, we have to swing the bat. We’re just not squaring anything up.
Oh my gosh, Lynch absolutely freezes their best hitter on a nasty slide piece with 2 strikes and the ump freezes up.

No idea why they challenged this. Announcers sound like buffoons acting like it’s close.

Agree and Bakich has no tolerance for it either. Handed it off to a bench player today and last night.
That is one of the worst looking at bats that I have ever seen that actually ended up as a positive. lol
