I have a feeling that bases loaded with no outs and only getting one run is going to bite us. Knaak has unfortunately settled in. Not a fan of that.

These types of situations are where coaches make their money. Last thing we want to do is use Glauber for 3 innings and lose.
Trailing 2-1 is about as tough as it gets in terms of making a pitching decision here if we have to take DeCaro out.

Six hits, four walks and a hbp in four and a third does’t instill confidence.
Not Jason's best, especially command wise, but his ERA as it sits right now is 2 FULL points lower than what it was at this time last year. Also Jason has the third best starter ERA in the conference coming into this game and the two guys above him both have pitched less innings.
Tonight’s outing by DeCaro continues our recent theme of just wayyyyy too many free passes allowed by our pitchers, particularly the starters.
I get that, but the eye test says different and we really need our Friday pitcher to go more than 5 innings every Friday

I can understand they’re trying to find a reliable 3rd bullpen arm and it was a dicey situation to bring McDuffie or Glauber into, given that our win probability was a good bit below 50% when the call to the bullpen was made.
