He loses his lower halfI don’t think I’ve seen a good pitcher who randomly loses command for 4 and 5 pitch walks as often as DeCaro. I’m not really sure there’s a good explanation for it.
I assume this is the bes he has pitched all year.Knack at 76 pitches and 7Ks through 5...72.3% strike percentage.....

It was, but I’ll take it at this point!lol that was so lucky
These types of situations are where coaches make their money. Last thing we want to do is use Glauber for 3 innings and lose. Please tell me Caden is warming up. Why have him if we don’t use him?
There hasn’t been much draft hype since his freshman year.Just not buying the draft hype for Decaro….1.5 k/bb ratio and mid .200s batting average against
I wanted him in when it was a tie. You can tell Jason doesn’t have it tonight. These types of situations are where coaches make their money. Last thing we want to do is use Glauber for 3 innings and lose.
Trailing 2-1 is about as tough as it gets in terms of making a pitching decision here if we have to take DeCaro out.
I feel like with the way Jason is pitching, it’s a matter of time.Wheels haven’t come off yet but they sure are wobbling
absolutely agree with you ... i fully trust in the staff knowing their players, especially this pitching group ...These types of situations are where coaches make their money. Last thing we want to do is use Glauber for 3 innings and lose.

His draft stock has dropped a lot compared to where it was after his freshman yearJust not buying the draft hype for Decaro….1.5 k/bb ratio and mid .200s batting average against
Six hits, four walks and a hbp in four and a third does’t instill confidence.I feel like with the way Jason is pitching, it’s a matter of time.
I get that, but the eye test says different and we really need our Friday pitcher to go more than 5 innings every FridayNot Jason's best, especially command wise, but his ERA as it sits right now is 2 FULL points lower than what it was at this time last year. Also Jason has the third best starter ERA in the conference coming into this game and the two guys above him both have pitched less innings.
I can understand they’re trying to find a reliable 3rd bullpen arm and it was a dicey situation to bring McDuffie or Glauber into, given that our win probability was a good bit below 50% when the call to the bullpen was made.Don’t get the Seagraves call at all…
