Duke is loaded again. Scheyer already has the most talented team in the nation going in to next season. Let's see if he can make it through next season without choking. I have my doubts.
You know I hate Duke with a passion I really do but at least they have a shot every season something we haven't had in years thanks to that talent they bring in every year...

Not sure why people have issues with these numbers being reported.

College sports is professional league now (a version) and supply/demand will drive market value.

I say we accept this fact, raise $100M annually and buy the best team available regardless of source whether from Europe, high school or transfers.

The new UK GM should mainly be a capital raise role to fund the “recruiting” engine.

Do I like the above, of course not.

But the professional train has left the station and fighting “player value” in the open market system is a waste of time.

Ill say it again.

Why would any top player, if not projected to be a lottery pick, why would you leave college.

That's top 6-7 pick money next season. If you're projected 8th-10th, you're losing money if that's the going rate for John Greenwell

It will change NBA pay, there not going to lose players to Duke every year.

Most of them are garbage but in this case, the OP is a very decent man. He just make a mistake. I doubt he has twitter or he would have seen that it came from a Wisconsin fan with a low follower count.
Yeah, Mike’s a good dude that has been around forever on the UK boards. Myself, I’d never believe any of the numbers without seeing a check or a contract.
