consistent magical thinking where coaches at UK (except for Tubby, oddly enough) all fail because the fans and this board lack sufficient piety. Same guy took up for Cal when he called the fanbase Bennies. When fans can’t be blamed, then he trashes players. Trashes players, then turns around and says recruits won’t come here because of this message board. If you challenge him, he’ll bring up the fact that you’ve had more than one handle, despite having posted under half a dozen or more himself (of course, I’m immune from that one, having had just this one handle from the jump).

I swear, these guys are getting million dollars offers from multiple schools, but the difference is…. They checked on3 and looked at the whiff god meme and noped out.
That would’ve required firing Cal immediately after Oakland and eating that buyout. May was hired at Michigan on March 24, 2024. John Calipari didn’t resign here until April 9, 2024. Time line doesn’t work.

What crummy circumstances to lose out on a coach of that caliber, and cultural fit, the same year you need a new coach. Now they have banners and we have Pope Hope. I'm fully expecting Dusty to be a top 5 coach as long as he's at UM.
