It’s a free country. You can be as stupid as you want to be. Just have some truth in advertising and leave Rupp’s name out of it.

TBH he probably was a little racist. And yes I have heard the story explaining how he was not.
It's easy to put someone on a pedestal who lived and died prior to most of us even being alive.
Honestly, to me, Rupp means nothing other than being a mythical figure.
I would almost guarantee, that if the Internet existed during his time, like it exists now, that there would be some skeletons coming out of them there closets...
However, Rupp got to exist in a time when every time you picked your nose wasn't analyzed under a microscope. (I could say a little more on the race thing here but I'm not going to so my post isn't deleted)
It's just a forum name. Didn't it used to be "Rupp's Runts" or something? Don't hold your heros on a pedestal. You will only be disappointed...
