Quick note on Keli Zinn. She has wrestling experience when she was in the West Virginia athletic department.

She’s known for the LSU experience recently … so you combine big time athletics, with a prior knowledge of Power 4 conference wrestling, she understands how big of a deal it is at Rutgers/at Big Ten institutions.
Here’s my conversation with her LIVE from the 2026 NCAA Tournament in Cleveland.

Could you imagine burroughs as head coach, labs as associate head coach ,sasso and ash as assistants. Wow we would be lethal.
I get a little of the seniority respect here, but Labs above AA on the heirarchy?
Pipe dream but if Burroughs ever took the head job here all of those guys would be gone. Burroughs has a tight circle and while there would be no shortage of applicants to be on his staff, I wouldn’t expect him to keep any of those guys.
Maybe, but AA should get strong consideration given his succes and NJ roots.

Maybe not the best example because the athletic department at West Virginia seems to hate wrestling with all their heart, they may be a power 4 program but they only have 2 paid asst. coaches. The only upperweight coach for years now is technically a volunteer that donors pay a a small amount and he’s a 184 pounder who never AAed

She seems interested here so far, and coincidence or not, there's more buzz about the program than we've had in a while. She attends matches, nationals, Knox is on campus and Rutgers most decorated wrestler is returning to coach.. The program is moving upward.
