Well it's Easter season, so there's that
I think it may be posters here who are out of touch with the athlete of today. This touch money thing is so over blown. Don’t listen to the stories about the UK WR room on the football team if you are offended by the phrase. They have a similar slogan.

I thought it was an expression based on old wooden caskets, like the nails that would enclose it. (no idea if they even actually used literal nails now that I’m thinking about it.)
People don’t wanna hear it from a 14-loss team that will go down as one of the most disappointing seasons in program history.
If they were good, no one would care.
Many of those were posted originally on Cats Illustrated my favorite was "minus whale" as in "Minus whale except the fact that we ain't winning the tournament." We had a long list of them in one thread. Many contributions were accidentally made in actual threads there. Haven't seen "goody tissues posted yet. That was a good one.
Atoadaso, it's not rocket appliances, get two birds stoned at once, he passed with flying carpets are other good ones. I initially saw these on a list of Rickyisms from Trailer Park Boys.

I would've gotten a lot more technicals and flagrants had I known they'd earn me a pension.

Yep Anthony davis and them could've made that statement if NIL was a thing back then and it would've went on a shirt probably. Pretty bad look from a terrible team and some non UK caliber athletes who basically really only accomplished touching money because they sure didn't experience winning.
