Remember all the grumblings the fan base had at his initial hire? Looks like that's all coming to fruition. No major coaching accomplishments, not a single tournament win. UK Tried to dress it up real nice and get people to change their tune at the beginning and put a bow on it, but in the end, its still ****.

That press conference is deeper than most realize. It was a big smoke screen to get attention away from some bad things

I agree. But it also felt good. It gave us a morale boost. It did take the attention away. Pope started off as good as anybody could of . Beating Duke was huge. He just couldn't keep the momentum going because we as fans can only carry him so far. He can't really generate hype or excitement on his own. Downward spiral.
