I am sort of happy about this. Dude cannot dribble. He is a (streaky) shooter and a dunker. Not a winning basketball player.
Eh I'm not happy. Yes he needed to work on getting better off of the bounce, but he has the athleticism he just needed better handles. Pretty easy fix that can genuinely happen in one summer. Even if he didn't fix it having someone that can shoot like him is always great to have.

Not true. Williams, Noah, Moreno, Potter, and Hawthorne. Granted, the last 2 redshirted , but they still practiced with the team last year.
Chandler wasn’t coming back to be a bench player and dude wasn’t even in the top 40 guards in the SEC. If he started next year, we were cooked.
This one hurts. Even though I think we screwed up by building a roster with too many supporting players and not enough star power this year, you still need some role players, and a guy who shot 41% from three on the year and 46% in conference games is a quality one that won’t easily be replaced.
The only way I’d be sort of ok with this is if he was asking for star level money, which I do concede is a possibility.

I’m going by KSR and Sources Say. They said the last two you mentioned have not officially said one way or another. Hawthorne might depend on his role and who UK recruits in the portal at his position

Pope can’t even keep his Mormon brethren. The guy he recruited in high school and waited two years for. Oh well, he would have been a good 7th or 8th man.
Not sure why some are happy he is gone. Hopefully we can find a better shooter. But we always need shooters.

He is actually 22 and anyone can improve. I'd like to have him back but the price has to be reasonable.
If his spot is filled by one of our top targets I'm fine with this. If his spot is filled by a WAC benchwarmer with "potential" then it's a disaster. Only time will tell.

I liked Collin, but he seemed to always freeze when he got into the lane and never met a screen he couldn’t go under.
i dont think that is true. i think he would have been an excellent 6th man, first guard off the bench. that helps you win. as a starter its likely he limits you but if you had an elite PG, SF, and PF to surround him he could be effective.
