You sound like a kid in the backseat screaming, are we there yet mommy? It's all to try and make Trump look bad. You care more for that than winning this war.

Tell me. Name one time Biden picked up the phone to negotiate the Russia Ukraine war? Name it? Name one time he met with Putin regarding the war? Name it?
And this here ladies and gents is a great example of someone who can’t answer my question.

Jesus, Ned, that sounds so........ toxic. How did you not agonize every night about the feelings you hurt? You're a .....a.... bully!
at times, I believe people might have either thought that or used that expression. I'm a mission oriented guy...always have been since I discovered the 5 paragraph field order.

The only thing I agonized over, or lost sleep over, was whether I had done enough to accomplish the goal.

the reason is the filibuster. In order to pass things - not everything - in the Senate you need 60 votes. Why do you think we have government shutdowns. The Republicans only have a max of 53...so in effect democrats can control the Senate with 7 votes
I find it hard to believe he can’t convince 7 dems to side with him. I think it’s a lazy excuse so he doesn’t have to compromise or negotiate with dems.
Fetterman + all the dems that voted for his cabinet nominees is a good place to start, no?

For a while when in DC i worked for a flaming ******* of an O-6. Terrorized his subordinate staff officers and was an empire-building bastard (i laughed when he never got his star). Sometimes he would give me direct orders/taskings that had me monkey stomping into other O6's territories. I'd occasionally get hauled in and get roughed up by those other O6's but i'd just respectfully tell them that I understood, but that I was doing exactly what COL ******* told me to do and if they could just call him, at which point, I'd just get thrown out to go about my merry way. I didnt' really like my boss and he served as an example for me on how not to be, but i got to admit it was fun somtimes.

Weird, I'm not seeing anyone complaining about Trump not bombing civilians. Is ANYONE surprised by a sudden delay on Trump not starting wholesale bombing on Iran? I suspect not. As I said yesterday, standard TACO tactics by Trump.

Yeah, 6 dems seems like an easy pull for a master negotiator and dealmaker like Trump. Hell, he was able to convince 8+ dems to support his nominees, so you know it can be done.

interestingly, there were many, like myself, who knew or at least thought, that there was a massive over reaction to trump's statement.

If you seriously believed that Trump would TACO, as you call it, then there should have been no reaction to the "wipe out civilization" statement. The outraged folks should have known, like a lot of us did, that it wasn't going to happen.

You are right about the TDS here for sure. The left was just squalking about Trump as usual. Like I said yesterday, I don't think even Trump is evil enough to wholesale bomb civilizians. Pure TACO all the way.

I do however, have an issue with Trump saying stuff like this. This isn't your uncle Buck mouthing off in the backyard after a few too many beers. This is supposed to be the leader of the free world and he's out there sounding every bit like the leader of some terrorist group or ******** 3rd world country... threating to do what anyone with two braincells knows he won't do. That shiit yesterday could have come straight from the Iraqi Information Minister back in the day.

I'll agree with your last paragraph, but IMO by now people are used to trump's outrageous statements and give them less and less credence over time. The anti trump crowd gives the words far more attention than they deserve. The rest of us, recognize them for bluster and ignore them. I think trump's civilization statement was meant more for Iran's consumption than ours.

I agree 100%, and that is the problem. The US has been seen my most as the leader of the free world since the end of WWII. You know, the GOOD GUYS. That image took a MAJOR hit when Bush invaded Iraq under BS reasons. And honestly, I think we've lost that position on the world stage altogether now.

The leader of the US is someone that that in your own words: "...people are used to trump's outrageous statements and give them less and less credence over time... The rest of us, recognize them for bluster and ignore them."

THAT'S who we are now. Read that partial quote over again. "...people are used to trump's outrageous statements and give them less and less credence over time... The rest of us, recognize them for bluster and ignore them." You are a supporter and that is what you think of the freaking PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA. Holy crap, what have we become?

I'm a supporter of what, who? I support the issues that I agree with whether Democrat or republican.

My statement was how I see trump..by the way, I give the same stock to statements made by Schumer, Pelosi, Jeffries, Graham and many others. That doesn't mean I support them.

A lot of people take statements and attribute them to either support or non support. My statement was how I view trump..that doesn't mean I support him or don't support him, it's just how I see him and reactions to him.
