Alright insiders, who's coming home? Ashnault?
Hopefully he can help get some CBA interest….Bringing Ash back should help.. they still need to make more staff changes.
Love Ash, so happy he’s back!Ashnault returning as assistant coach!
I'd say Bill posting right above is all the confirmation I need.Is this confirmed? Seems like wishful thinking and looked very happy at Princeton.
1 for 1 trade pollard for seabassGet rid of Pollard who I'm sure is a great guy continuing to upgrade the staff, bring in transfers at 133 and Hwt and I'll be inclined to get season tickets again. With that, Goodale will have done all I could have hoped for. This season took a toll on my fandom.
Ha...have you ever seen or been to Colorado? Im not leaving anytime soon. I did however almost got run over by a driver from NJ while I was running yesterday.Gotta be Crackers
That ain't gonna happen. Seabass did not get along with most of the staff and the wrestlers on the team. He is loyal to Donnie , and that's it.1 for 1 trade pollard for seabass
I’m not sure if he’ll be the next HC, but I’m definitely happy he’s coming back. Mobbin..This has to be part of a transition plan from SG to AA. Dubuque is never leaving Princeton and there is zero chance of him getting fired unless he kills someone. AA obviously wants a legit HC job sooner than later. SG is presumably (hopefully) on the tail end of his coaching career. AA is next RU HC.
I would think that's probably going to be the plan. AA never really seemed at home with Princeton.Like he was going through the motions. If AA comes in, I wonder what Mikey Labs thoughts on this are.I was thinking when he came is, that he would eventually move too AHC and then be possible heir too the Goodale throne. This has to be part of a transition plan from SG to AA. Hopefully he's excited to work with another decorated collegiate wrestler around his age and I think it's a good tandem to have as they can both drill with our athletes. Now if we could also replace Pollard with someone else...I would think that's probably going to be the plan. that's not accurateThat ain't gonna happen. Seabass did not get along with most of the staff and the wrestlers on the team. He is loyal to Donnie , and that's it.
Go on...I don’t think we’re done adding coaches either. Some money has to be figured out but there’s a possibility we bring another all American to the program in some capacity
That is 100% accurate.People have even posted that Seabass would sit alone in the stands and did not really click with other teammates.that's not accurate
It was a few years ago, but I dont recall people saying he didnt get along with anyone. That is 100% accurate.People have even posted that Seabass would sit alone in the stands and did not really click with other teammates.
One piece at a time I suppose. A Burroughs type on the sidelines would most likely require a huge shakeup of the staff. I don't see that happening right now.Ashnault on staff is a great addition. However, he is not the big name I was hoping Rutgers would bring in as a replacement for Goodale. Burroughs, or another with his credentials, is what the program needs.
If they wait, they miss another opportunity. One piece at a time I suppose. A Burroughs type on the sidelines would most likely require a huge shakeup of the staff. I don't see that happening right now.
Maybe Donnie can come back. That ain't gonna happen. Seabass did not get along with most of the staff and the wrestlers on the team. He is loyal to Donnie , and that's it.
Do you believe everything that is posted on message boards? Ashnault and Rivera both brought us fame and lead by example. They are winners. That is 100% accurate.People have even posted that Seabass would sit alone in the stands and did not really click with other teammates.
It’s just how Rivera is , he was the same in the high school . He’s more of a loner and does his own thing and isn’t one of the guys. It comes off stand-off ish to people but I don’t believe he had actually beef with guys on the team he just didn’t talk to them outside of wrestlingIt was a few years ago, but I dont recall people saying he didnt get along with anyone.
Labriola was just looking for a job when Goodale hired him. It was his first year ever coaching, so I'm sure he's happy someone gave him a shot. It turned out good for us. I think he made some real strides with the upper weights.I would think that's probably going to be the plan. AA never really seemed at home with Princeton.Like he was going through the motions. If AA comes in, I wonder what Mikey Labs thoughts on this are.I was thinking when he came is, that he would eventually move too AHC and then be possible heir too the Goodale throne.
Yeah, but people changed their minds when they bring something solid to a program. I just think he's the quintessential big ten type coach.Labriola was just looking for a job when Goodale hired him. I'm kind of in the know, considering I wrestled for the program. I do speak to RU wrestling people, regularly. Everybody said good things about him , but they did say he was sort of a loner and a little bit standoffish.Do you believe everything that is posted on message boards? Ashnault and Rivera both brought us fame and lead by example. They are winners.
Yeah but honestly very confused from the season Pinto had…Labriola was just looking for a job when Goodale hired him. It was his first year ever coaching, so I'm sure he's happy someone gave him a shot. It turned out good for us. I think he made some real strides with the upper weights.
