Overall you might be correct. What pleases me is our midweek focus as compared to other recent history
100%, it's been a major step up in the midweek department. If we end up hosting a regional that will be very cool.
Max B off to a slow start but has tremendous potential. The bullpen outside of 1-2 guys is a major concern. Perfect example was Sunday—up 8-3 in the 9th. Couldn’t find anyone who could just throw strikes (4 walks) and had to bring Unger in after throwing 2 innings Saturday. Not going to get by with that against decent competition.

That phantom strike call ending our inning probably cost us the game. Umpiring sounded amateurish at best.
The rematch on April 21 could be interesting. KU players were flipping off Husker players and/or fans during their exuberant post game celebration.

I was at the game and it was brutal. It also seemed like the team wasn't interested in playing because of the weather, but who knows. We left after the 4th inning. We did not bring enough warmth with us. Again, it was brutal. I should have worn my winter coveralls.
