Cold in the Berg this morning, 36 outside and 64 inside, had to turn the heat back on! I finally convinced myself to get out and do a little bit of metal detecting Thursday, found 35 pennies, 2 quarters and 7 dimes, two of the dimes were beauties, Mercury dimes, one was a 1928, the other was 1936, when I cleaned the dirt off, they looked like the day they were lost, bright and shiny, just everyday wear. I thought, one is 98 years old and the other is 90 years old!! After those finds I just owe $592.65, shouldn't take me but another 10-12 years to pay myself back for the detectors!

If you get a chance try to find the video of the Kentucky Hoard, worth watching, that's why I metal detect!!!
