I like him as a 3rd Center but on the cheap. He had one decent game against Providence. However he would do better on a loweee level team.
I thought he would stay if Hines left but that doesn't appear to be the case. He can be replaced.
Remember when Shaheen gave him minutes over a kid who is about to get $3 million in the portal. That was quite an experience.

Probably the vast majority of the kids are going into the portal to get rich. It is no longer about going to a school on a sports scholarship and getting a degree from that school and a sound education. That ship has passed unfortunately! Oh and getting tattoos and dumb hairdos is also part of the mentality. Some even want to have a family while playing in college. The college game has gone down the toilet.
The education part has been long gone... and I'm sorry but this a job for these kids. That's it.
They are getting paid to play basketball. Why shouldn't they earn as much money as possible while they have the opportunity to do so? Most of them will never be in the NBA and they will likely have 2-3 years where they can make more than they will after college.
