Btw it also helps if you have someone who can deal with Reed one on one most of the time with only targeted or situational specific help. But not may can do that without Reed going nuts, creating foul trouble or both.

Pretty sure that Michigan spent much more then $10 million, Yaxel did an interview with CBS sports & said he turned down $7 million from Kentucky & took $5 million from Michigan, Michigan tried to get Braden Smith from Purdue to enter the portal & offered him $4 million but Purdue matched it , so Michigan went after Cadeau.
Have to believe that Mara & Johnson both cost some serious coin. Think they were in the $15 million range.
The $$ numbers we read are fiction. We all know that by now, dont we. I dont have to call myself Seton75illy to figure that out.

One thing i don't understand is this: it seems a lot of Michigan fans are ripping on Danny and saying he's all that's wrong with college sports. Do they not remember less than a handful of years ago when THEIR coach threw a friggin' punch in the handshake line??! Either people have very poor memory or they never learned the rule about Glass Houses.

Hurley is a lunatic on the sidelines but is 10000% great for college basketball and the Big East. And he’s so many fans of all stripes either don’t get the “glass houses” adage or are too blindly hypocritical to appreciate or care otherwise.

You're talking to fans who don’t know ball. The Michigan fans I know respect Dan a lot. There’s a difference between an extreme competitor and an imbalanced narcissist (Izzo).

Danny is a lunatic to the officials and its kind of ridiculous. But its his strategy. He is laser-focused on coaching and encouraging his players. Talks about his approach here.

Practices are when he pushes his players, gets on them when needed, you work them past their comfort zone. Then during games he does everything to give his players confidence and have their backs. He is on the officials so his players don't have to worry about them - they focus on their execution.

I'd like to see Sha be more encouraging to the players during the game. He has the tough approach in practice for sure but he's also tough on his guys during games and I think that often makes them tight. Coach them hard in practice, build them up during the game. Make it an us vs the world situation.
