Pope loses way too many games over his career. He can’t lose 10+ games and expect to be at top 2 seed. if you’re not a top 2 seed then your chances of winning the tournament or slim to none get it done through the regular season. Have a good record and get a top 2 seed in the dance. Pope has a really bad habit of losing games. 11 seasons as coach and 9 seasons he had losses more than 10. Plus one of those was Covid year he finished with 8 losses but would’ve finished with 10 after the conference and ncaa tournament loss. So basically he’s had 1 season when he didn’t have 10 or more losses.
