It’s a great point. Think about the narrative surrounding Iowa men vs women’s teams. One had the the much better regular season but imploded at the end. One had a solid but inconsistent regular season and a terrific postseason run.

The momentum of the mbb season will make AD reevaluate revenue share, imo.

Capitalizing on Ben's success has to be priority #1.

Yeah defund the women's team that is ranked 9th in preseason polls /s

Why do you even post on the wbb area? You just perpetually hate on the women's team. Interest in the sport is growing like crazy, but you just want the team to not exist it seems.

Most of the this country has a positive association of Iowa from Clark.
People know that our academic ratings are tanking and our water is poisonous and our politicians want us to accept that "we are all going to die". But they immediately light up talking about wbb--but let's just defund that sport🙄

You could just be positive about both programs. It's not that damn hard to do

Revenue sharing means the AD has decisions to make.
I guess we'll see if the sellout streak continues.
I have doubts, unless ticket prices are lowered.

As I've stated previously, the momentum of the WBB program coincided with the "Fran fade".
Ben has brought back the interest.

You paint with a pretty broad brush with your "post season is what everyone remembers". I doubt that the thousands and thousands of Iowa WBB fans around the country don't all think negative like you. I sure as hell don't. Iowa had a heck of a good season. I remember many many very nice wins.

I respect your opinion.

But being now known as the biggest upset of the 2026 National tourney is a dubious honor.
I suspect Iowa will find a few players to fill holes, but it will be because of $$$, not JJ's coaching philosophy.
